Other projects and general repairs portfolio

Over the years we have carried out many repairs and odd jobs in relation to landscaping works. We have added a few examples for your viewing.

Granite steps woth cornish stone wall, handrails and fencing - Pentewan - 2016 - 2017

We have been back to Pentewan on various dates over the past year and here is what we have done so far.

The customer asked for steps to be built to connect a newly purchased bit of land to the rest of their garden.

We did this by building the steps from blocks, which were then faced with Cornish hedging stone. On top we laid big Granite sleepers, lifting them in place manually.

We also put in 2 boundary fences either side of the land and added metal handrails up through the pathways for safety.

Most recently they have had the Cornish stone wall completely rebuilt and asked us to put a picket fence above the wall, lay turf up to the edge on top of the wall and add an extra rail onto the metal handrail system as safety for the little ones.

Creating a raised vegetable area - Pentewan - 2015

We were asked to turn a disused part of the customer's garden into an area that can be used to grow fruit & vegetables.

We created a raised area from new railway sleepers and filled it with granite chippings. We also poured 2 concrete bases. Upon the bases we built the greenhouse & fruit cage.

Deep planters for vegetables were repaired, painted and placed accordingly.

Clearance of allotment & construction of paths & shed - Fowey - 2014

We were asked to overhaul an overgrown allotment that had not been touched for quite a while.

We put in pathways for easy access and built a shed. We also added weed block to make it a good usable place for the customer grow their own fruit, veg and plants.

Herodsfoot - 2014

This was only a couple of days work to improve the outdoor space of this holiday let.

We made repairs to the trellis, re-planted the area, jet washed & painted. This really brightend up the courtyard and made it a nice space to enjoy.
